About us

An independent preparation tool for the reading part of the CIPLE A2 exam.

Our mission

Make preparing for the A2 Portuguese language requirement straightforward for people living in Portugal, whatever their work schedule or where they live.

Why we built it

If you have tried to get A2 certified in Portugal, you already know the problem. You open the CAPLE website and there is nothing available: no exam dates, no open slots, no clear information on when any of it will appear. The IEFP courses near you are full, or run at times that collide with work. The online options you find are hard to verify.

We went through it. The requirement itself is simple, which is to show A2 proficiency. Getting there is the part that turns into a second job. So we built the piece we kept wishing existed: somewhere to practise the reading component properly, and a way to know whether we were actually ready before booking a seat.

What we do, and what we do not

A2 CIPLE Prep covers the reading component of the CIPLE exam, which carries 45% of your score and is the heaviest single part. You get unlimited exam-style reading questions graded instantly, corrections that show what you missed, timed practice exams, a readiness score, and vocabulary review that schedules itself.

We are not a course provider and not an exam board. We do not issue certificates, and we are not an alternative route to the A2 requirement. You still sit CIPLE with CAPLE, or complete a PLA course with a DGERT-certified provider. We help you walk into the reading paper knowing where you stand.

What we believe

  • Certification should not be gatekept by broken portals and rigid timetables.
  • A readiness score is only useful if it is honest. Ours is calibrated to the real 55% pass mark and the 25%-per-section rule, not to a number that flatters you.
  • People deserve clear information about their options rather than marketing.

Who runs it

A2 CIPLE Prep is operated by Binns Pte. Ltd. It is an independent exam-preparation tool, not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by CAPLE or Universidade de Lisboa. Questions go to [email protected], or see how it works and the FAQ.
