How it works

1. Start with the free quiz

The homepage has three real reading questions. No account, no card, and the score is shown openly rather than held back. It takes a couple of minutes and tells you roughly where you are before you decide to do anything else.

2. Set your exam date and level

When you sign up, a few short questions set your target exam date and starting level. Sign-in is passwordless: enter your email, get a 6-digit code, and you are in. Google and Apple sign-in also work.

3. Practise, and see what you got wrong

Unlimited exam-style reading questions in the CIPLE task formats, graded the moment you answer. Every wrong answer comes with a correction that shows what you missed, so a mistake turns into something learned instead of a number going down.

Everything is European Portuguese, human-validated to the CIPLE format before it reaches you. Brazilian vocabulary and spelling cost real points on the day, so we keep them out.

4. Sit timed practice exams

Practice exams run against the clock in the exam's own format. Time pressure is the part most people underestimate, and it is much cheaper to discover that here.

5. Track a readiness score you can trust

CIPLE requires 55% overall and at least 25% in every section. A strong score in one part cannot rescue a section you failed outright. Our readiness score is calibrated to both rules, so "ready" means ready rather than "above average". The dashboard points you at your weakest areas, and vocabulary review schedules itself so the words you keep missing come back until they stick.

What this is not

We cover the reading component only, which is 45% of the exam. We do not teach or test speaking, listening or writing, and we do not issue certificates. Read the FAQ for how CIPLE and the PLA course route compare.
