How do I get my CIPLE certificate after passing?

The sequence

Results are published on CAPLE's website, up to about six weeks after the session closes.
CAPLE issues the certificate and ships it to your centre. This takes roughly 21 working days after results. Some centres quote a slightly shorter 15 to 20 working days.
You collect it in person at the centre where you sat the exam. Not at CAPLE, and not at a different centre.
You sign a receipt declaration when you take it.

A note on vocabulary: levels A1 and A2 receive a certificado. B1 through C2 receive a diploma. The CIPLE is A2, so what you are collecting is a certificate.

Can someone collect it for you?

Usually yes, with a written authorisation that you have signed. Centres normally publish a template for this, so ask before sending anyone. This matters if you travelled to another city for a session, because the certificate goes back to that centre rather than to one near you.

Two things that will save you real money

Check your name on the attendance sheet on exam day. The spelling on that sheet is the spelling that goes on your certificate. Errors must be reported to your centre in writing within 5 working days. After the certificate has been issued, fixing a name means paying for a duplicate and returning the original.

Scan it the day you collect it. A lost certificate costs 25 euros to replace, and only within 2 years of the exam. After that window there is no replacement at all. Store the scan somewhere you will still have access to in a decade, because a citizenship process can outlast a laptop.

Duplicates are free only when the original was damaged in delivery or contains an error that was CAPLE's own fault.

Budget the whole chain

From exam day to document in hand is about three months. If a deadline is driving this, that is the number to plan around.
